How to Test Your Stereo Speakers or Headphones
Put your headphones on or sit in the center of your speaker setup. Click the Play Left Channel or Play Right Channel buttons. A clean, 440Hz test tone will play for 1.5 seconds exclusively out of the selected side. If you click the left button but hear the tone in your right ear, your headphones are reversed or your audio cables are plugged into the wrong ports.
Diagnosing "No Sound" Issues
If you click the center Play Center (Both) button and only hear audio from one side, you may be experiencing a hardware fault. For wired headsets, check for frayed cables or dirt in the 3.5mm audio jack. For Bluetooth devices, try unpairing and reconnecting the headset to your PC to reset the stereo handshake.
