How to Test Your Mechanical Keyboard
Our comprehensive keyboard tester is designed to help you verify the health of your mechanical switches and membrane domes. Simply press the keys on your physical board, and the corresponding digital key will light up to confirm actuation.
Checking for Key Chatter
Key chatter occurs when a mechanical switch begins to fail, sending multiple input signals to the PC from a single physical press. If you notice a key registering twice instantly on our tester, your switch may need cleaning or replacing.
What is N-Key Rollover (NKRO) and Ghosting?
Ghosting happens when a keyboard fails to register multiple simultaneous key presses, effectively "dropping" inputs. High-end gaming keyboards feature N-Key Rollover (NKRO), meaning every single key can be pressed at the same time and the hardware will register all of them without dropping a single signal.
